South Lakes MP Tim Farron has today completed his 100,000th piece of casework since becoming an MP back in 2005.

Every day, local people write in to Tim asking for help on a range of issues.

Tim said: "The best bit about my job by far is when someone comes to me with a problem and we're able to help them.

"People come to me with all manner of problems, big and small, but it's things like getting people's benefits re-instated or getting their child the proper mental health care that they need that are the most rewarding.

"But I wouldn't be able to give that help without my amazing casework team who work tirelessly for local people behind the scenes.

"Here's to the next 100,000!"
