MP Visits Kirkbie Kendal School

Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron visited Kirkbie Kendal School on Friday to speak to students about his work as an MP.
Tim spoke to Year 8s at the school, who have recently been studying a Politics topic. Many students had also visited the Houses of Parliament for a tour and workshop. Tim took questions from the students and discussed his role as an MP.
Tim said: "I had a great time visiting Kirkbie Kendal School. The students were knowledgeable and interested, and kept me on my toes with their questions. It is fantastic to see young people who are so engaged with the world around them - they were a credit to themselves and to the school."
