MP thanks police for their dedication over Christmas

Local MP Tim Farron has today expressed his thanks to local police officers for their part in the high visibility foot patrols in Kendal over the busy Christmas and New Year period.
Tim thanked the officers and staff for their dedication and determination. Many of them worked many hours over the festive period and were away from friends and family during the Christmas break.
Tim said "The visible presence of local police officers makes a huge difference to public safety and public confidence - I am really grateful to local police officers for their outstanding contribution over the Christmas period and all year round."
