Local MP Tim Farron has joined Crosscrake Primary School's fundraising drive to replace their climbing frame after it was condemned.

As well as highlighting the school's fundraising drive, Tim has donated a prize for their raffle and will have a recipe in a cookbook that is being published to help raise the much-needed funds.

Tim said: "It's heartbreaking when a school has a piece of equipment like this climbing frame condemned, not just for the school but also for those in the local community who use it. I'm only too happy to help with the school's fundraising drive for a replacement, and have told the headteacher, Mrs Fletcher, that I'm happy to come along to any event and help in any way I can."
