MP backs young entrepreneurs scheme
South Lakes MP Tim Farron has today encouraged Cumbria's bidding entrepreneurs to enter a scheme to find the top businesses of tomorrow.
Last month, Lloyds Bank launched their 2014 Enterprise Awards to celebrate and recognise the top businesses of tomorrow. These awards allow for university students and graduates of less than five years that have founded a business to enter a competition with substantial prizes.
Winners of the heats for Best Start-up, Best Digital and Best Enterprise will each get the opportunity to have one-to-one local business mentoring and will be awarded cash prizes of up to £5,000. The grand final is on 15th October and the prizes will be:
- Expert legal advice through LawNet for all final winners
- Overall Best Start-Up: £10,000
- Overall Best Enterprise: £50,000
- Overall Best Digital: Spend time with leading industry digital market experts worth over £10,000
- Senior Executive Mentoring
Applications close on 23rd July 2014. To find out more about the awards or to apply visit http://www.lloydsbankenterpriseawards.com/
