South Lakes MP Tim Farron will be one of those debating the burning issues of the day on the BBC's flagship current affairs television programme 'Question Time' on Thursday night.

Mr Farron will join MPs Grant Shapps and Mary Creagh, the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, and LBC broadcaster Julia Hartley-Brewer on the panel. The show, chaired by David Dimbleby, will be broadcast from Durham on BBC One at 10.35pm.

Tim said: "Being on Question Time is always incredibly nerve-racking but it is a fantastic chance to debate the issues of the week.

"I'm looking forward to the show and the best part is not knowing what questions will be asked!"
