Farron urges Lakes businesses to look at export opportunities
South Lakes MP Tim Farron is urging local businesses to take advantage of UK Trade & Investment's (UKTI) Export Week to get more information and support to try and grow their business markets abroad.
UK Trade & Investment is holding its 6th Export Week this week. Tim is urging local businesses to look at the opportunities to grow their business abroad.'
On average, companies earn £100,000 in additional sales within 18 months of working with UKTI. Companies that would like to look at the benefits of exporting can find out more from UKTI by visiting www.exportweek.ukti.gov.uk
Tim said: "Exporting can really open up opportunities to businesses and enable them to substantially increase their operations. I am urging local businesses who are interested in export markets to get involved with UKTI."
