Tim Visits Local Schools
Tim Farron MP yesterday visited Crosthwaite Primary School and Stramongate Primary School, to speak to students about his work as an MP.
Tim was quizzed by students about a wide range of topics, from his early life and personal interests through to questions about current policy issues such as the refugee crisis.
The students took particular interest in Tim's constituency casework, as Tim reassured them that he would never turn away a constituent with a problem.
Tim said: "I had a great time speaking to students at both Crosthwaite School and Stramongate School. I was impressed by the thought that the students had put into their questions, and the interest they showed.
"I am sure these young people will go on to make a positive difference in their communities."
