Tim Farron MP announces summer tour

Local MP Tim Farron has announced the dates for this year's annual summer tour.

The tour, which kicks off this Thursday in Milnthorpe, sees Tim travel the length and breadth of the South Lakes speaking to local people about the issues that matter to them.

Tim said: "This will be the 14^th time that I've done my summer tour.

"Going out and speaking to people in our smaller villages and communities that I don't get to visit often is really important.

"Being out on the summer tour is one the best parts of my year, as I get to grips with the issues that matter.

"No appointment is needed to see me - please just turn up!"
