South Lakes MP to hold special phone advice surgery next Thursday in wake of coronavirus
Local MP Tim Farron will be hosting a special phone advice surgery next Thursday morning (19th).
The session will be in addition to Tim's regular face-to-face surgeries, but for people who are worried to go to a public event because of the outbreak of coronavirus.
To book an appointment, constituents should email tim@timfarron.co.uk by next Wednesday with a few sentences about their issue and a contact phone number.
Tim has completed over 113,000 pieces of casework since becoming an MP.
Tim said: "Naturally with the spread of coronavirus there may be people who would like to chat with me about an issue affecting them but feel uneasy about going to my public advice surgeries.
"So to try and address this, we've decided to hold a special phone surgery on Thursday.
"Please do get in touch about whatever your problem is - no matter how big or small - and me and my casework team will book you a slot and give you ring you to see how we can help."
Tim's regular face-to-face surgeries will continue as normal with the next one taking place this Saturday (14th) at Windermere library from 10am.
