New Classroom Opened By MP

A newly refurbished classroom at Dent Primary School was officially opened by Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron on Friday.
Tim visited the school to cut the ribbon at the official opening, and met with teachers and pupils. Tim also saw the activities which the pupils were involved in to mark Sport Relief Day.
Tim said: "It was fantastic to be able to meet staff and pupils at Dent Primary School, and to celebrate the official opening of the new classroom with them. This classroom will provide a smart new learning area for the students. I enjoyed speaking to the pupils and finding out about their interests and activities, and there was a real buzz of excitement about what was going on."
