Tim Farron MP with students from Settlebeck School at Parliament

Students from Settlebeck School were welcomed to the Houses of Parliament by local MP Tim Farron last week.

Tim met the Year 10 students and took part in a Q&A session. The students then had a tour of the Houses of Parliament.

Tim said: "It was great to meet Settlebeck students in parliament, and to discuss with them my role as an MP. I was impressed by their questions and interest in finding out more about how our political system works. I hope the students enjoyed their visit to Parliament, and that is has given them a better understanding of the link between the work that I do in parliament and my work in the constituency."
