South Lakes MP Tim Farron welcomed a group of Kendal College students to Parliament on Friday.

The business students from Kendal College had a tour of the Houses of Parliament, and met with local MP Tim Farron for a Q&A about parliament and his work as an MP.

Tim said: "It was great to be able to meet with students from Kendal College in Parliament. Westminster can often seem a long way away from Kendal, so it was great for them to be able to get an understanding of how it works and what MPs do. I enjoyed the Q&A session, and I was impressed by the students' thoughtful questions. They clearly care about their communities and about how politics can affect them."
