MP Welcomes Improved 4G Coverage

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has welcomed the news that EE has switched on more 4G coverage in the South Lakes.

EE has upgraded masts near the B5285 near Far Sawrey, meaning that residents and businesses in the area will benefit from faster speeds on 4G devices.

Local councillor Dave Fletcher has long campaigned for improved mobile phone coverage in the area.

Tim said: "In today's world, access to fast internet is critical for residents and businesses alike. This is welcome news and will provide a boost to the local area.

"I would like to thank local councillor Dave Fletcher for his work putting pressure on mobile phone providers to improve signal."
