MP launches lottery to raise funds for Beck Pre-School
Local MP Tim Farron visited the Beck Pre-School in Kendal on Friday to chat with the kids and read them a story, before officially launching the pre-school's new lottery.
The school lottery aims to raise funds to buy more resources and equipment for the pre-school.
The lottery is part of a national scheme, meaning that each ticket enters participants into two draws. There is a jackpot of £25,000 as well as a guaranteed prize of £20 for one of the supporters of the school.
Tickets are available for just £1 per week. To sign up to the lottery, go to:

Tim said: "I had a great time visiting Beck Pre-school and meeting the kids. We enjoyed reading a story together, as well as talking about space exploration and dinosaurs!
"I was also pleased to officially launch their lottery, which is an innovative way of raising funds. Please do consider supporting them - it's very easy to sign up online, and gives you a chance to win great prizes while supporting the pre-school.
"My thanks go to Fran McCubbing and everyone else involved at Beck Pre-School for their enthusiasm and hard work."
