MP launches health survey to help in the fight for better local services
South Lakes MP Tim Farron is sending a health survey to 25,000 homes across his constituency to help get a better idea of local residents' experiences using local health services and how they could be improved.
The survey will update findings from previous surveys that Tim has sent out in the past. It will ask residents about their experiences using local health services, and whether they have encountered any problems. The responses Tim receives will enable Tim to build up a better picture of residents' experiences and concerns, which will then be useful for Tim when he meets local health bosses and continues to campaign for local services.
The survey can also be found online here.
Tim said: "Local health services are regularly top of the list of issues in my postbag.
"Whether it's long waits at A&E, parents struggling to access mental health services for their children, or the huge distances cancer patients have to travel, hundreds of people contact me with their concerns each week.
"The information I get back from this survey will be essential in the fight to get a better deal for local people and to safeguard vital local health services."
