MP holds half-term hat-trick of ‘football surgeries’ in Kendal

This week, local MP Tim Farron held another successful series of ‘football surgeries’ on three estates across Kendal.
Young people joined Tim on Hallgarth, Kirkbarrow and Sandylands to play five-a-side football and talk to Tim about the issues that matter to them.
Speaking afterwards, Tim said: “I’m really grateful to all the young people who gave up some of their half-term holiday to come and have a kickabout with me and chat about the issues they’d like me to help with as their MP.
“It was great to hear them talk to me about a range of different topics, from bins to bees, and from floodlights to football teams.
“I always want to be the MP for all our community, not just the ones who are old enough to vote!"
