Natwest Refurbishment

The refurbished Kendal branch of NatWest was officially reopened by South Lakeland MP Tim Farron on Friday.

The NatWest branch in Elephant Yard has been completely refurbished and redesigned, to give customers a more personal service. There is an open-plan layout to enable staff to meet customers, whilst waiting times for businesses should be reduced thanks to the introduction of automatic pay-in machines for business accounts.

The branch officially re-opened on Friday, with a day of food and live music to celebrate. Local MP Tim Farron officially cut the ceremonial ribbon to mark the reopening.

Tim said: "The refurbished and redesigned NatWest branch in Kendal not only looks very smart, but should be good news for local people - it will make it easier for customers to interact with staff and quicker for businesses to pay cheques in to their accounts."
