Farron launches constituency-wide health survey
South Lakes MP Tim Farron is sending a health survey to 35,000 homes across his constituency, to help get a better idea of local residents' experiences using local health services and how they could be improved.
The surveys ask residents about their experiences using local health services, and whether they have encountered any problems. The responses Tim receives will enable Tim to build up a better picture of residents' experiences and concerns, which will then be useful for Tim when he meets local health bosses and continues to campaign for local services.
The surveys have all been stuffed into envelopes by volunteers, and will be delivered across the constituency by a network of volunteer deliverers. The surveys can be returned via Freepost to the Lib Dem office.
Tim said: "Each week when I knock on doors across South Lakeland, the number one issue which comes up is health services. For that reason, the local Lib Dems have decided to deliver a comprehensive survey to every household in the constituency. The response we get to these surveys will help to build up a more accurate picture of residents' experiences and concerns using local health services. This is about listening to local people so we can better stand up for our area."
