Farron congratulates students on GCSE results

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has congratulated students on their GCSE results, which have been released today.

Tim said: "I'd like to congratulate all the students across our area who have received results today.

"I have visited many schools across South Lakeland and have seen the hard work students have put in, as well as the support that both teachers and parents have provided. The success students have seen today is a tribute to that hard work and dedication.

"Whatever path students choose to take next, whether it's an apprenticeship or further study, I'd like to wish them all the very best."
