Join Tim Farron on Sleep Out for Youth Homelessness Charity

1 Nov 2016

Tim Farron is swapping his bed for a sleeping bag to help raise awareness and support for homeless young people.

A decent, safe, secure and affordable home is essential to being a part of society and the community you live in. It allows you to make a living, and keeps you warm and secure, yet most of us take this for granted. It is outrageous that homelessness still continues to rise every year in this country. It needs to be tackled.

That's why next month Tim Farron is participating in Centrepoint's 2016 London Sleepout, to help give homeless young people a future. By sleeping out on a cold and damp November night, he hopes to raise money to support Centrepoint's work with those who face this ordeal on a daily basis.

Centrepoint provide safe rooms and health and learning support to some of society's most vulnerable young people.

You can help Tim and his team to help them by giving what you can using the 'Give Now' button on his fundraising page: https://sleep-out-2016.everydayhero.com/uk/tim

Or even better come along and join Tim! The event takes place on the night of 24th November and you can register here: https://register.primoevents.com/ps/event/SleepOutLondon
A registration discount is available if you register before midnight on the 2nd November, and give the code TEAMTIM
