Farron attends Youth Football launch

Local MP Tim Farron attended the launch of the Kendal Town Youth Development Program at Dallam School on Friday night.

Kendal Town FC has launched a Girls Football Development program under new Director of Youth Football Development Tosh Farrell. The program launched on Friday evening, and was followed by a boys' training session. Tim attended the training session on Friday evening to meet with the young players.

Tim said: "I had a great time at the launch of the Kendal Town football development program on Friday evening. It was fantastic to see so many talented young people playing football and having fun. I am particularly pleased that Kendal Town is putting such a focus on girls' football. I would encourage young people in the area to get involved if they are interested in joining the club's youth system."
