Farron Campaigns For Europe
Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron joined with local activists on Saturday to campaign for Europe.
Tim and other volunteers spoke to the public about the upcoming referendum. The street stall was held in Kendal town centre.
Tim said: "On the 23rd June, we have a huge decision to make about our country's future. Not only are millions of jobs linked to our trade with the rest of the world - it is our place in the world that is at risk. A 'Remain' vote will show that we are an open-minded, outward-looking country, which will work alongside our neighbours to face the challenges of the 21st century. We cannot tackle climate change, cross-border policing or international terrorism alone. I am voting 'Remain' to give my children the best possible future."
